Set in the universe of the acclaimed re-imagining of Battlestar Galactica this is a Nordic LARP game set in the 130 hours between events of the Battlestar Galactica miniseries and episode 1 of the first season (the stupendous 33 – one of my favourite episodes of any series_. It follows the Monitor Celestra an aged, legendary and perhaps somewhat spooky exploration and electronic warfare ship. The ship has a mythos of its own – mainly due to its construction running concurrently with the birth of the Cylons.

The game runs over 4 dates in March 2013. The dates are:  1-3, 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24

The cost of the game is between 2400 and 3400 SEK. The cost includes costume and all meals. Including the costume is a great idea. In a game universe where a good number of the characters are in well known uniforms – having the game provide the costume makes a lot of sense. It will make the game seem a lot more real.

There are 144 spaces on the game.

The game itself takes place onboard the Smaland – a cold war era destroyer docked at the maritime museum in Gothenburg.

Without a doubt this is a hugely ambitious game. As I get more news I will pass it on to you. For now I wish its organisers luck – this is a fantastic project and if pulled off should be incredible,
